Town Government
Granby is governed in true New England fashion by open town meeting and a three-member Select Board. A mixture of important elected and appointed committees and officials includes:
- Town Clerk
- Town Treasurer
- Town Collector
- Board of Assessors (3 members)
- Board of Health (3 members)
- Planning Board (5 members)
- School Committee (5 members)
- Conservation Commission
- Library Board of Trustees (9 members)
- Town Moderator
Annual Town Meeting is held the second Monday in May and could be carried over to a meeting in June with Special Town Meetings being called by the Select Board as needed.
