6:00 pm - Roll Call and Call to Order

                 Welcoming of Guests, introductions and public speak out period

6:15 pm - Review and acceptance of minute meetings from previous meetings

6:30 pm - Report by Marcia and Victoria on the Regional Convening Meeting of 9/29

6:45 pm- Report by Laura on her presentation to the State Commission Legislative Committee

7:15 pm - Any other items that may lawfully come before this body.

7:30 pm- Conclusion and identifying actions and next steps.

     

The commission was legislatively created in 2017 and is subject to Massachusetts' open meeting laws.

This commission represents and recognizes all women, regardless of their age, race, color, creed, abilities,

socio-economic status, immigration status, sexual orientation, or gender identity at birth residing in

Hampshire and Franklin Counties.

 

 The HFCSWG is a regional commission. Duties include: studying, reviewing and reporting on the status of women in the county; promoting and facilitating collaboration among local women’s organizations; recommending policies that benefit women to agencies, officers of the state, and local government; and holding fact-finding hearings and other public forums as it may deem necessary.
